Creating or editing a restaurant page

Once you complete and submit the restaurant registration form, an account will be created for you and added to your restaurant page, from there you can take ownership of your own restaurant page and join thousands of other restaurants.

Please follow the following steps to learn all the necessary steps to effectively manage your restaurant page on jordanrestaurants.com

Step 1: Check your email:

Check your email inbox that you used in the registration form, there should be an email for you from the system admin:

In the email itself is a link for a one-time login, you can use this link to change your password and edit your profile:

Step 2: look up your restaurant:

Once you are logged in, you can check out your account by clicking on the My Account link on the main menu or on the side navigation menu:

In your account page you can see a list of all the restaurants that you have editing permission for; in this case you can see that Test Restaurant is available for you to manage:

As you can see, your restaurant’s page does not have many details or information, to change that click on the edit tab on top:

Step 3: Edit your restaurant:

The restaurant edit form allows you to change all aspect of your site, these attributes will affect the way your restaurant looks to visitors, each field represents a different piece of information that you want to share with your visitors.

The first thing you want to do is set a cuisine type for your restaurant, this will allow your page to be sorted based on the type of food you serve, making it much easier to reach your customers directly:

• Asian
• Bakery / Pastries
• Bar/ Pub
• Buffet
• Cafe / Coffee Shop
• Coffee / Juice / Cocktails
• European
• Fine Dining
• Fast Food
• Falafel
• Rest House
• Sandwiches

• Shisha Shop
• Sweets
• Local/ Middle Eastern
• Ice Cream
• Home Cooking
• Italian

Next you will add inks to other sites such as your social media pages, YouTube and Vimo videos, websites, trip advisor and many others, the system allows you to add unlimited amount of links to your page:

You will need to tell your customers what service you offer them; you can select multiple options:

• To-go: you offer pickup service, this means your customers can pick up their order and enjoy at home or on the go.
• Delivery: you offer that orders made can be delivered to your customers
• Dining: your restaurant has a seating area; customers can enjoy your hospitality at the restaurant.
• Shisha: you serve shisha at your restaurant
• Banqueting: you offer banqueting and special functions services like special parties and events either at your location or at the guests’.
• Alcohol: you serve alcohol at your restaurant.
• Live Show: you do have a live band or live Entertainment playing at your restaurant

Now you can write an about us section to let your page visitors know a little more about your restaurant, you can use word editing tools to assist you:

Add contact details, it is especially important to add your city and region as it will help people locate you easier based on your customers location:

Now let us add some media, you can first add your logo, if you do not have a logo you can easily add an image that reflects your restaurant best:

‎you can also add images for your photo gallery, these images will be formatted, cropped, and resized to be displayed in a nice way on your page, so you don’t need to worry too much about that, the system will take care of it for you:

You can now either review your page or click on save and see it in real-time, you can always get back to edit your page and add or change images anytime.
